I was born in Pocatello, Idaho in 1957. For those of you not familiar with the area, Pocatello is approximately 150 miles north of Salt Lake City along I-15. Most all of my life up through my high school years was spent in Idaho. I lost my father unexpectedly when I was fourteen. From then on it was me, my dear mother and three brothers.
After high school I enlisted in the US Air Force where I spent four years. All of my enlistment was stateside; mostly stationed at Offutt AFB just south of Omaha.
Following my military commitment I came back to Idaho where I met my wife of 23 years, Teresa. We have three children, a boy and a girl twins, and a younger son. Eventually, I went back to school and graduated in 1989 from Idaho State University with a degree in Secondary Education, emphasizing social sciences and English/Literature.
Currently I live in a small town just south of Pocatello with my wife and two of my kids. My day job is in the semiconductor industry. It's okay, but like many of my fellow writers, my day job is just a hobby; a needed crutch to pay the bills. My true passion is the stories that I create.
